December Rally: Meet and Drive (2023)
Happy NXU Year!
Saturday, December 30th, was a huge success. Bright sunshine flooded the parking lot of NXU Energy in Mesa, where many members and electric vehicles gathered for fast charging, excellent weather and fantastic community.
This was our largest monthly event to date, with 33 EVs and 54 people in attendance.
The group drive to Tortilla Flat was well attended, and the crowds at our destination were unprecedented. Other car clubs, including VW, Nissan GTR and others also decided to make the drive. With no legal parking available, some people went home, or back to Apache Junction, or even past Tortilla Flat for some off-roading.
