SAN TAN FORD SHATTERS EV SALES RECORD!

When San Tan Ford, in Gilbert, became of a sponsor of the Valley of the Sun Electric Vehicle Association, we knew then that they were a special kind of automobile dealership.

Tim Hovik, owner of San Tan Ford put it this way: “Look, society has its problems. Society also has opportunities and solutions. Electric Vehicles are the latter.”

Over the summer, Tim shared his vision with his team. Out of that vision came an exciting goal, and that was to do something that no other organization has done:

Sell 100 EV’s in a single month.

And that month is August 2024.

Let’s put this in perspective. Of the well over 30,000 new vehicle franchises in North America, no dealership has surpassed 50 new EV sales in a single month. Area dealers average less than 15 EV sales per month.

Not only did San Tan Ford help put 100 brand new EV’s in area garages, Hovik added “we’ll probably do 130!”.

When it comes to smashing EV sales records, Tim had more insight to share. “We run our business by setting goals and creating new milestones. I believe these are the tools for measuring success. This team and these vehicles are amazing. So sure, breaking sales records has an impact on our business, but it makes a broader impact in raising awareness that the EV model is flourishing. We’re proud to be the retail leaders in delivering this message to the world. But It’s really about quality of life more than a big sales goal”
