Valley of the Sun EVA partners with Rocky Mountain Institute
In November 2023, the Valley of the Sun EVA partnered with Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) and City of Phoenix Sustainability program to bring two events to Phoenix.
On two consecutive nights, we showcased a small variety of electric vehicles at two separate apartment complexes in underserved communities. RMI is coordinating the install of “level 2” EV chargers at these locations, bringing charging infrastructure which provides convenient and affordable charging options for residents.
With the assistance of RMI and City of Phoenix, Valley of the Sun EVA was able to help people learn what an EV is like, inside and out, and all the benefits of driving electric.
