Concours in the Hills 2023

We attended the Concours in the Hills car show in Fountain Hills, AZ, which benefits the Phoenix Children's Hospital. Numbers have yet to be released for this year, but last year's event raised $430,000 for the charity!

This one event alone draws more than 50,000 spectators in a single day.

In addition to a 35 vehicle EV display ("Electric Ave"), hosted in part by Scottsdale EVA, BESPOKEV and the local Tesla Drivers Club, Drako Motors had 2 EV hypercars, Lucid a multi-car display (with ride and drives right on site) and Vintage Iron & Restoration with a 1972 Chevrolet El Camino Electric conversion. It was magnificent!

This is by far and away the largest contingent of Electric Vehicles ever displayed at the Concours, which hosts more than 1200 cars throughout the entirety of Fountain Park.

In addition to signing up new recipients for our newsletter (210% growth on Saturday alone!), during the event, we signed up people to take test rides and drives in (4) electric vehicles:

Jaguar I-Pace

Bolt EUV

Kia EV6

Rivian R1T

The day after the event, Sunday 2/5, 25 ride and drives were conducted for anyone that wished to see what an EV is all about. No internal combustion vehicle is close to the experience of an EV, and getting to drive one is an amazing opportunity!
