Flagstaff Escape the Heat - Aug 2023

Cars were split between Electrify America chargers in Anthem and Tesla Superchargers in New River, where we started the journey.

Rivians and a couple of Teslas stopped in Oak Creek Village (south of Sedona) for an opportunity charge, while other CCS vehicles stopped in Sedona at Electrify America and charged as needed.

Teslas made their way to Flagstaff to charge, and then around 1pm, we all converged on Arizona Snowbowl for some awesome photo opportunities (shame on me for not taking more!).

Many of us took the Gondola to the top of the mountain for some breathtaking views from atop Agassiz Peak, around 11,500 feet elevation.

Lunch was a bit of a fiasco, as the grill / restaurant could not make any hot food, but many of us stuck it out and made the best of bags of chips and ice cream bars. Count it as another memory-maker!
