West-MEC Alliance Show & Shine Car Show

On Saturday, October 12th, Valley of the Sun EVA joined attended the West-MEC Alliance Show & Shine Car Show. This event helps raise funds for West-MEC programs, through raffles and event sponsorships.

Valley of the Sun wanted to step up their game at this event, showcasing a unique EV display. With a Rivian R1S towing a travel trailer and a Ford F-150 Lightning towing a flatbed trailer with a RZR SxS on it, our vehicles showed the towing capaability of EVs.

And what happens when an outdoor event in the street has a DJ with no power outlets in sight? They plug-in to the Ford F-150 Lightning with pro-power on board!

Rounding out our EV display included a Chevrolet Bolt, Ford Mustang Mach-E, Tesla Cybertruck “Cyberbeast” and Legacy EV’s 1964 converted Ford pickup truck.
