EV Road Trip Day 30

We are now half-way through our road trip. We had breakfast this morning with Jon Seary, Co-founder of Drive Electric NL, an EV advocacy group in Newfoundland and Labrador. We can learn a lot from each other. Jon is now a member of Scottsdale Electric Vehicle Association Facebook Group.

We also visited Cape Spear, including Cape Spear Lighthouse and World War II Coastal Defense Battery (also the most Eastern Point in North America), a distant iceberg; and The Rooms, St. John’s Anthropological Museum.

Our hotel, Blue on Water, is also a well-known bar and restaurant in downtown St. John’s, Newfoundland. There is no front desk. We checked-in last night at the bar. Our room, on the second floor, is huge, like an apartment with an industrial design tavern feel…tall ceilings, exposed thick, hand-hewn beams, heated slate bathroom floors, enormous open tiled shower, and extraordinarily comfortable bed.
