EV Road Trip Day 37
Our accommodations in Québec City are for 4 nights at the iconic Fairmont Château Frontenac in Old Québec, “which provides a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and the architecture of the old fortified city…Old Québec is a historic neighbourhood of Quebec City, Quebec, comprising the Upper Town and Lower Town. The area is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.”
Today, we walked the Petit-Champlain, an exclusively pedestrian street that has one-of-a-kind boutiques that offer products created by local artisans, clothing made by local designers, Indigenous sculptures and handicrafts, jewelry, Québec terroir and amazing architectural details.
Tomorrow, we will visit the Musée National Des Beaux-Arts Du Quebec | Québec City’s Fine Art Museum, for an Alexander McQueen show, among other exhibits.
Other neighborhoods we hope to explore include the Old Port neighbourhood, the Bohemian neighbourhood, and the Saint-Jean Baptiste neighbourhood, at least a couple of these in the evening to late hours for restaurants, pubs, and bistros with live music (likely Friday night, our last night in Québec City.)
